I already submitted a ticket to Blue Microphones support, but With my headset that had a mic already, which was a Razer Kraken, but I wanted to upgrade because of how annoying the actual mic was, and I was not satisfied with the quality of the microphone.
Just recently, I decided that I wanted to make a YouTube channel, and post videos of commentaries and such. I cannot reinstall the drivers to my mic as trying to find the mics drivers they are nowhere to be seen! Either both of the mics lost compatibility on the same windows update or the windows update brought along something that is interfering with the transmission of the physical audio to the applications. At this point, I am led to believe that one of two things is happening. I have tried this with my webcam mic and it is having the same problem.
I have removed the device and plugged it back in, checked for the most recent drivers, and used the troubleshooter. All of my applications that use the mic can see that the mic is plugged in but audio will not transmit to the application. Now my the sounds tab acknowledges that it knows that the mic is there, but the bars that indicate detected sound do not light up green. I know the microphone is still working by itself because I have listened to it and heard my own voice very clearly. I have a Blue Yeti Microphone and it was working perfectly fine before the windows update. I have spent around 5 hours in my free time trying to get it to work with other programs. So after a recent update to Windows 10 on either 5/14/18 or 5/15/18, my microphone as ceased to function.
